Overview
Bukklet is a mobile app for listening to and reading top book summaries, designed with a focus on simplicity and accessibility. I handled the full design process, from UX research and wireframing to the final UI. The product emphasized quick discovery, minimal navigation, and a distraction-free experience for readers and listeners alike.

The Challenge
Existing book summary apps were cluttered and overwhelming. The goal was to design a lightweight, easy-to-use app that allowed users to:
Browse and discover summaries quickly by category
Listen to audio summaries with a minimal player
Read summaries in a clean, distraction-free interface
Personalize their experience with simple account settings
Research & Insights
We identified two clear user needs:
Quick discovery of new summaries by browsing categories.
Simple playback and reading experience without distractions.
This led us to prioritize minimal navigation, clean typography, and a bold yet simple color system.

Design Approach
We focused on clarity and ease of use:
A card-based grid system for browsing summaries.
A minimal audio player with subtitle support and bookmarking.
Profile and personalization options kept clean and accessible.
Wireframes helped us strip away unnecessary steps and keep the product lean.

Design Approach
The app delivered a seamless experience for readers and listeners by balancing simplicity with usability.
Improved discovery: Categorization and search made finding summaries fast and intuitive.
Engagement boost: Clear navigation and minimal UI encouraged longer listening and reading sessions.
Accessibility: Multilingual support (English + Arabic) and simple layouts ensured the app was usable by a wider audience.
Scalable design: The design system supported future content and feature expansion without cluttering the interface.
